Interactive textbook doesn't save answers to essay questions in the attempts report

I'm using the interactive book with essay-type questions and other h5p activities and I've noticed that the answers my students have given to the essay-type questions don't appear in the attempts report. I only see the duration, score, conclusion and result of the attempts, but what they wrote is not available.
I've found that when I use the Essay questions individually (outside the interactive book) the attempts report shows the answers.
Is there a specific setting in the interactive book to make the answers available or does the book not have this functionality?
I use Moodle (version 4.2) as my LMS, where H5P is already integrated.

Is this really a problem with Essay only or does it occur with other subcontent such as Fill in the Blanks as well? What if you try Column instead of Interactive Book? Do you have an option to try this with the H5P plugin for moodle as well instead of trying this with moodle's own custom H5P integration?

Interactive Book seems to report everything perfectly, so it is likely that this is some issue further down the road. Could be the PHP report library that the official H5P plugin for moodle uses (that's why it would be good to know what the result using the H5P plugin is) or an issue with moodle's custom integration if they have a custom solution for reporting as well.
