If you install the plugin in Moodle and will not use the services of H5P.com you do not have to pay anything. There are some advantages in using H5P.com than the plugin. For one you will have a dedicated 24/5 support, files such as videos, audio etc. are hosted in H5P.com.

I work at a University and would like to try h5p to create lesson content.  If the free trial is over, will I lose the content I create? Getting my university to purchace h5p might not be easy for me to do, but would also like some information about the purchase price and what it entails for a small group of 1-3 users. At least then I can give proposals should the request come up.

Regarding copyright.  All content I create is to be used at my University.  It will also utilize web page screenshots for the lesson.  I will assume that once the content is up on the Moodle site, the images are referenced as belonging to the university. Is this a fair assumption?

I am willing to pay for a yearly subscription to the tool in order to create the content I need for my lessons.  I am on a short 2-year contract though, and wonder if I would lose my lessons once I no longer pay for the yearly subscription. Would those lessons disappear from my university's website?

My trial period expired yesterday and all my projects were disabled. I have contacted the sales team via email but haven't heard back from them yet. I can't access any of my projects inorder to select the "reuse" option so that I can download the h5p files to host them on another server if I choose not to host them on h5p. Does this mean I must pay to access the projects I have been working on? How can I download them if the edit function has been disabled? Thank you for your help!

In every single video and article I have read and watched it is said that H5P is completely free and that all I have to do is sign up and create content. However, after signing up I just have access to twelve activities and if I try to create any other activity that is not on the H5P.org list the system asks me to sign up again. I would like to know whether the platform is free and I am doing something wrong or if, on the other hand, I have to pay to create content apart from those twelve activities.

Someone told me about H5P and since a week i'm trying it out as i would like to create content for a language course. (an online course that i would like to offer to the tourists who are booking a holiday in Spain with us) It's great, this was exactly where i was looking for to create the interactive exercises! But I'm not really a tecnical person though, when it comes to creating websites or programming. So far i understand that h5p.org is just for trying it out. But am i allowed to use the content i create in my online language course? I'm just a hobbyist and not a professional and purchasing it on h5p.com is too expensive for me. And as i understood not possible for an individual like me, if you are in Europe?

Is it possible to use your fee LTI, but store our content on our own server thus using H5P for free?

If so, is there special server software that is required to host the content, or can it be uploaded to a webserver or even a Google drive folder?
