Agamotto slider/mouse position

Hi,

I'm using the H5P plug in for Moodle. I made an agamotto for a course. It's comprised of 9 images, each image is 800x600 pixels. The slider function isn't working correctly - it seems to think the image is bigger than it is and the side scrolling slider function works really badly as a result. If you click on the slider it first jumps to the right of the slider bar and then can only be moved by clicking and dragging it for quite a way accross the screen before it actually moves the image. It looks bad. Any tips?

Thanks,

Hamish

Hi Hamish!

I am the author of Agamotto. There was a bug that could lead to similar issues in version 1.5.2 of Agamotto (if used as subcontent) that's still provided by the H5P core team. The bug has been fixed in version 1.5.4 that was published in January 2021. Possibly the change fixes your issue as well, but the H5P core team would have to upgrade to the latest version of Agamotto which is 1.6. The alternative: You'd have to build it yourself from the source files. Peter Baumgartner explains how this works at https://peter.baumgartner.name/2021/04/12/h5p-library-installation/.

Best,
Oliver

Hi Oliver, we have the same problem (Jumping at Agamotto)) again. The jumping is probably due to the fact that the margin-left of the main element is not taken into account when picking up the mouse position. Is there a solution for this in the foreseeable future?

Hello, I have the same problem again with the new versions of Agamotto. The slider is not where you move the mouse, but at this position + distance from margin-left of the element. The jumping is probably due to the fact that the margin-left of the main element is not taken into account when the mouse position is picked up. Is there a solution for this in the foreseeable future?

H5P Group still has not updated the version of Agamotto that they use in Interactive Book, but they are eventually about to do so.
