animated gif in flash-cards

Hello community,

I was probably too happy that I could add a whole bunch of animated gifs to the flashcards. The pictures were intended as a reading exercise at primary school level. In other words, at a very low level. Also in syllables that are coloured. The whole thing was packed into a csv file with Sebastian Rettig's cli-creator and generated. It worked really well after I remembered the bug with the semicolon.

Unfortunately, all gifs are started at the same time when the content type is started and cannot be replayed.

Have I overlooked something or does this project have no chance at all?

You could save the gifs with looping enabled.

Thanks Oliver for the reply,

but it'll be counterproductive for the learners, to show the learning stuff again and again. So I have to insert it manually into coursepresentation.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but there's a discussion about the integration of GIF images anyway for accessibility reasons. As you can see in the videos that are included in that ticket, it's in theory possible to add a "play" button to GIFs.
