Submit button missing for H5P quiz

My university did an LMS update and now I don't see the "submit" button for an embedded quiz within a video. My school uses Moodle 3.11 but it is hosted by open LMS for Moodle. Any suggestions on how we fix this so my "submit" button reappears and then it posts to the gradebook? Thank you!

Hi Susan!

This has been the topic on this forum a couple of times lately: Can you made sure that LMS is running the latest version of Interactive Video? There was a bug that was fixed quickly, but some people are still running the buggy version.

Best,

Oliver

Thank you Oliver. Could you tell me what is the latest version of Interactive Video? I am sort of a novice with this - so should I actually be asking what is version of H5P they are using? If they need to fix it, where is the new version located (ie where should I refer them to look at)? This is outside of my scope as I am the educator who is using it and not the LMS administrator through the open LMS. Thank you!

Hi Susan!

According to https://h5p.org/post-hub-releases the latest version of Interactive Video is 1.22.14.

Admins should know where to check and update H5P libraries, but it's probably not uncommon that they don't and simply rely on the automated update mechanism that moodle core provides. That updates all H5P libraries once a month by default, so I assume even if nobody does anything, the issue would be fixed next week given the release date of 1.22.14.

There are a couple of ways that you could check the current library version yourself, but that's really not your job, I guess, and even if you knew, you would not be able to correct the problem.

Best,
