Can´t click on answers in video after checking

Hi there,

 

A client of mine has several videos with h5p-questions on their wordpress-site.

Lately there seems to be a problem, when you do not answer the question an proceed to check for the correct answer. The questions are set to only show the correct answer when an option(answer) has been selected. However if i do not pick any answer and proceed to check i can not selct any option(answer) from the menu anymore. This means i am stuck at the question without being able to check for the correct result.

My workaround now is, that i have set the questions to show the correct answer eventhou there was no option selcted. This bug renders the option to "only show the result, when a answer is picked" useless tho.

Maybe there is a better way to solve this. Or it should be adressed in a upcoming patch.

Hi Max,

In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen): Described above
  2. Platform and version number. Wordpress
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

If it worked before:

  1. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.)
  2. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.)

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Sure BV,

i will try to provide some data:

2. It runs on WordPress 6.2.2

3. It´s on a Desktop computer

4. The browser i am using is Firefox it does not seem to be limitied to this browser tho.

5.  Sadly i am unable to find the h5p version since i am no admin... It should be the latest version to date tho.

Hi!

I am not sure if I understand what the issue is. You wrote

The author of this exercise has actively forbidden that the user may retry the quiz (it's allowed by default): It's the Enable "Retry" button" option ("Wiederholen"-Button anzeigen).

In consequence, if you require an option to be chosen in order for the solution to be visible and if someone clicks on "Check" without having chosen an option, then he/she cannot retry and therefore he/she cannot select an option anymore.

That's not behavior that has changed recently if I am not mistaken, it has been that way for a very long time. There has never been a "Require answer before check button is enabled" option if that is what you are looking for. Therefore I am not entirely sure what you mean when you say: "Lately there seems to be a problem".
