Advent Calendar Non-Functional (

Bugs in content types

To Whom This May Concern,

I'm not sure when this issue bega, but the Advent Calendar example on the H5P Content Types page is no longer functioning properly. When I click on any calendar box, a thumbnail of a video is displayed, but the video does not play, nor is there an option to play the video. From there, the screen is frozen in place and I am unable to click anywhere else successfully and must exit or refresh the page. My coworkers also had similar issues, and we have tried it on Safari, Firefox, and Chrome browsers in Windows and Mac OS laptop devices. We are using H5P.com through our institution.

I'd appreciate if something could help resolve the issue as soon as possible, as I was hoping to demo this activity type for a workshop/webinar tomorrow. Thank you very much!

Hi swifta,

I am going to report this to the devs at H5P.com. In the meantime you can still use the sample content here in h5p.org. From my tests the issue only happens if the content is in H5P.com.

Edit: This was not a bug in Advent Calendar itself. Instead bug in the video component. Based from this bug report this has already been resolved but so far has only been released here in H5P.org. We still don't have any timeline when this will be released in H5P.com. However, as I mentioned above for your demo you should be able to play the one hosted here: https://h5p.org/content-types/advent-calendar
