Quiz (Question Set) - unable to export
Hi,
I am quite new to H5P and so far only am using it on my (Windows) desktop, not with a LMS with plugins. This may change in future. It offers me great possibilities to make all kinds of interactive exercises. Thank you!!!
However, I run into a problem. Whenever I create a Quiz, I am able to save it as a H5P file. But when I hit the export button it seems to go into a loop. It doesn't export. The same thing happens with Interactive Book. Sometimes trying to export even alters my saved H5P file to a previously saved version, or worse, I cannot open it any longer and am losing all my work, giving errors like "wrong block" (or something?) or "invalid code lengths set". Looking at the log file and searching for "fail", I came across "[warn] Failed to read config for content 2954513678".
I think it has to do something with my installation. The first time I installed H5P, I did it with the "recommended MS Store installer" on Lumi's site. But some content types like Course Presentation didn't show up: it was an older version (0.9?), no updates. So I installed the "exe file for a single user" with auto-update which permitted me to have the newer content type. No more "Set-up" but "Details" when opening the program. But with that installation, opening/saving etc became much slower: not installed on my pc but getting it from a server. And I had to locate and point to the previously saved version in File Explorer whenever resaving, instead of the program automatically locating that file on my pc and overwriting it. Which is quite laborious in my File Explorer's arborescens... So I reinstalled the MS Store version. I discovered and ticked "updates" in settings. The newer content stayed. I am able to use Course Presentation, for example. It seems like the content is still fetched from a server (which was not the case with my 1st installation from MS Store). I haven't tried all content types, but I get the impression that not being able to export has something to do with the new content types.
I would appreciate your help in finding out what's wrong.

Hi!
Storing and exporting is not a part of H5P itself, but of the respective H5P integration - Lumi in your case. It think it makes sense to reach out to them.
Cheers,
