Save States and processing of Data
Hi,
I am working at a university and I'm new to H5P. We are planning to use H5P in a Wordpress Installation and to support students with a small E-Course on a specific topic, that they can take on their own. We are using small quiz Elements realized with H5P. We really don't need the answers of the students, the whole course is just an offer and we don't want to process any personal data of the students. On the opposite, it is very important to us that we don't get any Data handed over, as the answers the students provide might be very sensistive and we don't want to apply data privacy stuff in this regard.
So we turned off Save States and haven't implemented anything to store any user data. And what I'm looking for is a confirmation, that if we don't use save states, no user data is being processed or stored through H5P on our server. My research tells me, that if save states are deactivated, everything is stored in a local cache on the machine of the user and will be deleted after the session has ended.
Can someone with insight please confirm my researched information on this?
Thanks and kind regards from Germany
