Dialog cards. Dialogs editor position.

Hi.

Is it possible to keep the dialog cards editor on the same "dialogs" line, so there is no need to scroll up? To understand what I mean go to https://h5p.org/node/433575 and try to edit, for example, the last dialog.

Note: You will get 3 or 4 times “Page Unresponsive” pop up, but after it is possible to edit and save the content type.

Hi Ubi,

This is not possible but thank you for the suggestion it is indeed tricky if you have a lot of entries such as your sample content. We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.

Hi BV52,

Thank you for your reply and thank you for the suggestions.

However, you get the same behaviour when creating for example: Flashcards or others content types when there are more than 20 cards or questions.

Hi Ubi,

Thank you for the additional information.

I downloaded your content to see if I will get the "Page Unresponsive" pop-up. Although uploading the content takes longer than usual I did not see the pag unresponsive message when editing the content. I also created a test content here and I am not seeing the issue. Can you please check if you will have a similar issue on the test content I created. If so there are a few things that you may want to check:

1. Are you having the same issue on all browsers? If not which browsers do you see the issue?

2. You can try disabling add-ons on the browser.

3. Check if the computer has sufficient memory.

Hi BV52,

I get the pop up (see attachments) only when I edit the content type. But, in my opinion, it is due to the hight number of cards and to me it is not a problem.

My problem is the editor position for the single card (please see attachments 3 and 4). Not very user friendly.

Hi Ubi,

I still cannot reproduce the issue (we have similar specs). Anyway as you mentioned it is not much of a problem with you. The other concern I totally agree that there should be a better editing experience. Even with just 30 cards there is a need to scroll up and down. There are plans in the Roadmap to have inline editing, I personally haven't seen the plans on how it will work but I hope this includes your suggestion.

Hi BV52,

I hope this question was not asked before. At least I haven't found it.

I have a standalone formula in LaTeX and when a card is turned twice the LaTeX notation is shown (see attachment), not the formula.

Hi Ubi,

Thank you for reporting this. I filed a bug report and you follow the progress here.

I BV52,

I do not know if this is a Bug or are my computer settings, but when I use ChromeVox in Dialog Cards with formulas, the formula is not spoken, or sometimes only the Latex notation is spoken.
