Vertical layout and sorting of data in Chart

Branden's picture

I use Charts as a leaderboard that tracks student wins in a game we routinely play in class. The problem is that I've got about thirty students per class and the chart only displays data horizonatlly so the element names become unreadable, especially when viewed on a mobile device (see attached image). Having a vertical bar chart as an option might solve this issue, if the display could expand to accommodate a large number of data elements. Given a vertical display option, it would also be really helpful if we could sort the data elements. In practice, I'd like to keep the original order of data elements when updating data (keep student names in a consistent order), but to have the option to automatically sort by value when displaying the chart.

Hi Branden,

Thank you for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.
