Possible to add audio to Fill in the blanks?

Is it possible to add an audio fragment to Fill in the blanks?

What I would like is that the Learner is presented with the sentence, fills in the blank, then sees the correct answer and hears the sentence spoken out loud with the correct missing word.

Searched this forum but could not find any item on it. Nor in the documentation.

Love to know whether this is possible and if so, how.

Am using WP as platform, H5P as plugin.

Hi Madeleine,

If answering the question correctly triggers the audio that cannot be done as of the moment. It can be done though in segments. What you can do is create a Course Presentation. Create the question there and depending on how you want the user to see it, you can either add the audio on the same slide or the next.

Hej BV52, will give it a try tomorrow. In the course demo I could not quickly find the audio insert, a lot of images and text. Need a bit more time to study this but will give it a try as that would be really good. Will let you know if I succeeded ;) Ciao Madeleine

Hej BV52,

Working on a course presentation, I believe it is not possible to turn off the automatic presentation of a solution? I want to have a learner translate x-number of sentences, BEFORE they are presentend with the correct answers. From questions below the Course Presentation tutorial, it sounds like this is not possible. This means that when I add a Fill-in-the-blanks question, the "Check" box is always there.

Is this assumption correct, that I cannot remove that?

It will take their minds of translating when they check each answer before they move on. It's like a test I want to create and that means, first you do the work and only then you get feedback.

By the way - addition audio and questions using e.g. Dialog Cards and Fill-in-the-Blanks works perfectly.

ciao Madeleine

Hi Madeleine,

Yes you are correct that the "Check" button cannot be removed but the "Show Solutions" button can be disabled. You just have to click on the "Behaviour settings" within "Fill in the Blanks" window to see the options.

Hej BV52, yes I found that button, but unfortunately that is not sufficient. I will have to either make sure the Learners are disciplined enough, or come up with something else. For now, I will work with what is possible as that is a whole lot more than I had before :) Thank you so much for helping me out so quickly! Ciao Madeleine
