Multiple Hotspots

Hello,

I am trying to use the multiple hotspot content on wordpress, but I am having some troubles with it. I wrote feedback on all of my correct hotspots, but they never show up when they are clicked on. Every time that I click on the incorrect hotspots, the feedback shows on the bottom of the page. How do I make the correct hotspot feedback show?

Summary:
Multiply Hotspot feedback not showing

Hi everfit,

The feedback for correct answers will also show up at the bottom of the screen. If it is not showing would you mind sharing your sample content.

I just did a test on H5P as well and it's the same issue. The example functions perfect! But if I created a multiple hotspot on the site - it's doesn't show feedback when the answer is correct!

I have the same problem with moodle. It's only when the hotspot is not set to correct that the feedback shows!

Hi kabr!

The content typs "Find Multiple Hotspots" was not created by the core team, but by Luke Muller. Have you or someone else tried to contact him regarding this issue?

Cheers,
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

I tried to e-mail Luke, but didn't get any respons back.
I found out though that I had downloaded your example with multiple hotspots and installed on our moodle to test it. If I dublicate and create a new exercise out of it. Then the feedback feature functions fine (also with correct answers). So I don't know if you somehow have changed the code a bit in a updated version - and something happened with the feedback ...

But I would imagine that you could recreate the functionality by looking though the old code!

Hey, Kaspar!

What did I send you? Unfortunately, I don't remember :-) Did I fix something for you individually?

I guess we'll have to discuss what should happen to content types whose contributors abandon them (kind of). I fear we cannot take over the maintenance, but we should at least make it easy inside the Hub to distinguish between content types that are still supported by others or us - and those that are presumably not maintained anymore.

Best,
Oliver

You just sent me luke's e-mail address.
I'm just puzzled by that the version you use for demonstration functions perfect and I can use the same version to get a functional hotspot exercise at my moodle installation - so I suppose that you just to reactivate the older version and it would solve the bug (that it gives feedback for correct answers as well ...)

Hi!

We have not changed anything in the code, and it's still version 1.0.0 that our server is serving. Not sure what I can do to help.

Best,
Oliver

It is now working better but can not edit/expand the hotspots in Chrome, but was OK in Safari
