Hello

i've created a interactive video, then i've downloaded on my computer. After that, i've uploaded the file in a moodle activity by the h5p plugins. the upload work but after the upload, there is something wrong because the details never appeared. There is a "loading, please wait message,"

The file is the last one i've created.

Moodle 3.6.1+ (Build: 20181210)Version 2018120301.03

Hi petitprof,

I uploaded the H5P in Moodle and everything is working fine. This means that the file that you downloaded and uploaded is not what is causing the problem. To further help you isolate the problem please include the following information:

  1. Mobile or Desktop
  2. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  3. Any browser console errors
  4. Any PHP errors

I'm using firefox updated on my desktop

i'v this in firefox console

i've tried with Chrome and it's the same,

It seems to load but without stopping or showing something at the end.

I try today to make a new interactive video within my plugin H5p inside my moodle, and i've the same, with Firefox or Chrome. It 'loading withour end

Hi BV52, I finaly decide to delete H5P plugin from my moodle site, losing 156 exercices in. After that, I've reloaded the plugin, and now it works, interactive video too. I just have to take time to upload the exercices for my children.

Hi,

  1. On 6 June 2018 we've created an interactive video by linking the video from our media content page. It works perfectly fine (see attachment h5p file). Yesterday (12 December) we have uploaded the exact same content and the same video cannot be seen (h5p content below). When trying to add an interaction in the second tab the "Video format [is] not supported" (see attachment photo).
  2. Moodle Version 3.4.6.
  3. Desktop computer
  4. Browser: Firefox
  5. H5P plugin version:1.14 (2018113000)

What could the problem be?

Hi Tina,

Thank you for the detailed information. The attachment helped a lot :-)

The original content uses old H5P libraries which is why they are working. With the update in November if a video is hosted outside of H5P to have an Access-Control-Allow-Origin header set. This is the reason why the second content which is now using the newer libraries are not working. You just need to the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header so that it will work with H5Ps. The reason behind this is that accessibility is very important for H5P, and in order to allow subtitles for external videos.
