Course Presentation
Primary tabs
A free HTML5- based presentation content type which allows users to add multiple choice, fill in the blanks, texts and other types of interactions to their presentations using only a web browser. Make engaging presentations with H5P and Course Presentation on WordPress, Moodle or Drupal.
Description
Course presentations consist of slides with multimedia, text, and many different types of interactions like interactive summaries, multiple choice questions and interactive videos. Learners can experience new interactive learning material and test their knowledge and memory in Course Presentations. As always with H5P, content is editable in web browsers, and the Course Presentation activity type includes a WYSIWYG drag and drop based authoring tool.
A typical use of the Course Presentation activity is to use a few slides to introduce a subject and follow these with a few more slides in which the user’s knowledge is tested. Course Presentations may however be used in many different ways, including as a presentation tool for use in the classroom, or as a game where the usual navigation is replaced with navigation buttons on top of the slides to let the user make choices and see the consequences of their choices.

issues with image upload
I cant seem to upload images onto any of the slides or course presentation resource. I have uped the max upload and whatnot in php.ini restarted my apache but the image upload page just takes ages and never uploads the image regardless of its site.
Server wise, i have enough space on the server for it not to be refusing to upload images.

H5P slider out of alignment
Link to image - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r2gd8J5c9zQnOVu84oORgDyL16EWMNmP/view?usp=sharing
Recently on our Moodle we have noticed that when embedding H5P Slides the slider at the bottom is out of alignment with the rest of the slides. I've checked the code and there doesn't seem to be any css or html affecting it (I'm not sure it could as it's a script not a frame?). Any ideas how to fix this?

Correction, it is a frame
Sorry, it is an iframe, but still, there's no code affecting that particular frame. It's happening on all our H5P's at the moment.

Files corrupting for no apparent reason
Hi,
I use Presentation to create a series of versioned hotspot-based quizzes. Some of the image files I upload and then overlay with hotspots are disappearing. It's seemingly random with the same image appearing in one instance and then unable to display in another.
Do you have any idea why this might be happening?

Is the 'Shapes' button live outside H5P.org?
I've been testing the Course Presentation activity on H5P.org for some teaching materials. We currently use H5P in Moodle 3.5 and have the activity installed but don't have the 'Shapes' button available in the toolbar. The plugin is up-to-date (v1.14) and the Course Presentation activity does not show as 'Update available'.
Is this button live outside of H5P.org? Am I missing something?

Hi Nathan,
I'm not really sure why this option is missing but if download my sample content here and upload it to Moodle it should take care of the issue.
Note: I cannot delete your first comment since it will also delete both your 2nd comment and my reply.

Audio overlay?
Hi-- Is there some way to integrate some audio files so that a user hears a new audible mini lecture that's pinned to each slide? I think this might make it all more human.

Hi Blogmasterson,
There is an option to add Audio in Course Presentation or do you have something else in mind? If you think that this does not suffice I suggest that you head over to the Feature Request forum. In order for your feature request to attract as much interest as possible make sure it follows the below guidelines:
It is clear from every perspective how the feature will work. We recommend describing the feature with one or more user stories, for instance “As an author I want it to be possible to pick between different effects for the check answer animation so that the learners will see a variety of effects and also I can adapt the effects to my target audience(I’ll be using pink unicorns which works really well for both my target audience which are 4 year old girls and venture capitalists)”
If the feature can be illustrated with images or videos it always helps
Make it clear what content types this is relevant for, and or if this is a new content type
Make sure you post the feature in the Feature Request forum.

Include all h5p activities in Presentation
Hi,
We started using the h5p very recently and all courses are of type Presentation. For now we miss "hot-spots" and "image-pairing" as activity options and I guess we would love to have most available inside Presentation which after all is more a container and score-keeper. From the planned activities list elsewhere on the h5p site I could not get any clear information on whether this is something you work on or not?

Hi wmo,
Currently there are no projects aiming to include these 2 content types in Course Presentation. But you can post a feature request. In order for your feature request to attract as much interest as possible make sure it follows the below guidelines:

Extracting the score
Hi dear awesome H5P team!
Is it possible to extract the total of the student after he's done answering questions?
This question is not only for your Presentation tool but all your other tools too (where you get a final score).
Thanks a lot.

Hi dearfrench,
In theory this is possible depending on the LRS that you use. H5P emits data in the form of xAPI statements and you will need a plugin or custom code to listen to these statements and a data store such as a learning record store to save them in.
I highly recommend looking through these documentation:
https://h5p.org/documentation/x-api
