Timeline end dates showing incorrectly
Hi,
I'm using the Timeline in my Wordpress site and everything is displaying correctly, other than the fact that each entry seems to be restricted to exactly 30 years on the timeline. This is regardless of what I've entered for the dates and whether I use just years or include day and month. The start dates are all correct, the end date is just being ignored.
Wordpress 5.2.2 with HP5 plugin version 1.13.1 and happens on all devices.
I'm using Chrome to work on the site https://www.plainsightsound.com/timeline/
This is the first timeline I've built using the plugin so I can't say if I've noticed it being caused by any updates etc.
Hope you can help!
Thanks

Hi uchennan,
If my understanding of your description of the issue is correct the boxes that indicate the timeline entry occupies about 30 years. If so this is by design as it adjust accordingly to the entries in the timeline. The indicator of start/end dates are at the buttom but in your example it is hard or impossible to see because of the overlapping timelines.
I think we can consider this as a Feature Request. Although I would ask for your input on how it can be handled better. I was thinking that either the box gets expanded or the indicator at the bottom uses different colors.

Hi,Thanks for your reply!
Hi,
Thanks for your reply!
Having looked again, I see that, as you've stated, the start and end dates are correct on the bottom when the dates don't overlap with any others. However, when many overlap (as in this second screenshot attached - dates 1860-1932), it looks like the whole row from the start date is highlighted and they are all the same colour. I assume this is because each one is overlaid on top of eachother so many light blue entries give the appearance of a single dark blue line?
As a fix, I agree that when a title is selected, an expanded box would be useful when selected but using a significantly different colour (e.g. orange) and larger start/end date points would be much clearer, especially on different sized screens.
Thank you!

Hi uchennan,
Yes you are correct on the blue highlight at the bottom.
Thank you for input and I hope someone picks this up and create the feature.
