Uploading videos locally - serve optimum resolution

Forums:
Hi,
For the interactive video type I'd like to upload video rather than use an embed from Youtube. However one thing stopping me is that Youtube automatically uses the optimal video resolution depending on network speed etc. Does H5P have such a feature and if so how can I use it?
Just to add that I'm using the H5P module within Drupal.
Thanks,
Bez

Hi!
No, H5P does neither implement automatic selection of videos based on bandwidth nor dynamic resolution adjustments.

Hi,
I was searching the web and found this comment - https://h5p.org/comment/18093#comment-18093
This seems to suggest that it's possible. Can you confirm whether it is or not and if it's not possible then what did your colleague mean.
Thanks

Hi bez.lashkari!You can
Hi bez.lashkari!
You can upload a video in multiple resolutions, but users will have to choose one of them themselves. H5P does neither check the users' bandwidth or device resolution upfront and select one of the resolutions automatically, nor does it dynamically change the resolution while playing if a shortage in bandwidth is detected.
Best,
Oliver
