Does it / will it cost money to host and use H5P.com so that I can integrate it with Canvas and get access to back-end data?

Hi MJSellar,

You are correct H5P.com will be a paid service. H5P.com should definitely be open for all organizations during the summer, but probably not for individuals and smaller teams until the autumn. This is mainly because the planned credit card payment feature haven't been implemented yet, and it isn't viable to handle payments manually for smaller teams whereas for organizations there will have to be different contracts and manual steps anyway.

You can go to H5P.com to learn more and sign up for updates.

we are interested in using h5p.com for our university. I already signed up for the 30 days free trial but didn't recieve any form of price estimate yet. Can you give me further ifnromation about the concrete pricing here?

If you go to H5P.com and go to the free trial button at bottom you should see a quote. Please make sure that you are not logged in when you do this.

Hi MJSellar,

I am in a similar situation to Barbara.  The issue is that I cannot find any information on pricing.  There is no link/button on the H5P.com free trail page.  

I have other questions but just cannot seem to find answers.  I've emailed customer service regarding my issues but have not heard anything. Please advise.

There are 2 versions of H5P one is the paid service H5P.com and the other are the plugins which is the same as the version that you can test in H5P.org. You can check the main differences of the two services on this page.

After the h5p.com free 30 day trial will all built content, embedded iframes, and account be locked or will the content disappear? Trying out h5p.com but looking to know how many examples should I spend time building as we need use case scenarios for reasons to add the service. I would use h5p.org instead but the blue trial warning, would rather have it be clean. Thanks!

This documentation can give you an insight if in case you decide not to continue with your H5P.com subscription. I do not suggest using H5P.org for 'real' content since this site was never intended for that.
