Hi haris.siddiqui,

Moodle Mobile is still an ongoing project and you can know more about it here.

I understand that the app functionality seems to be working as it should (as seen in the linked thread), but the offline capability still does not exist. Any details on when that might happen?

Hi,

I'm not sure about the status regarding this, I'll check with the core team and get back to you before EOW.

Hi Learning Lab DCA,

H5P should be available offline using the Moodle app, you can check these pages in Moodle for more information:

Thanks for the links!

However, as I can understand what works offline is only H5Ps embedded directly into the text editor, which consequently does not give any completion data on learners. What we are really looking for is the use of the H5P activity offline.

On a side note: Personally, I also think it would more sense to only use the activity for H5Ps (and then creating an "embed directly on course site" toggle), as the activity is much better suited for creation and editing of H5Ps. This also makes it easier for teachers/creators to grasp the difference between what the text field is for and what activities are for.
