Hi nkearns,

I just want to verify that you are seeing this issue here in H5P.org? If so have you tried using a different browser?

I am having the same problem in Chrome.  When I load the page in Firefox, however, the correct thumbnail appears.  Can the bug be fixed so that it loads properly in Chrome as well?

Hi,

There seems to be some coding behind the hosted video that overrides the thumbnail. Have you tried using a fresh copy of the video and hosting it somewhere else?

I created a timeline and used links to Flickr to show images. However, pagepeeker keeps showing up when I link to Flickr. I don't experience these problem when I link to SoundCloud or Youtube. Moreover, oftentimes the Images from Flickr overlay the supporing text. The attached image shows how this look in the timeline I created. You see the pagepeeker logo underneath the Flickr imge and the image totally overlays the text. How can I circumvent these problems? Any ideas what's going on. Me and my collegues have these problems in Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

Kind regards,

Bioscience

Hi Bioscience!

What URL are you using to include the image? That's definitely not something that's caused by H5P. Have you checked with Alexander von Stetten whether there's some plugin running on the openVHB moodle instance that's fetching images via pagekeeper?

Best,
Oliver

Dear oliver,

many thanks for your swift reply! I used the Flickr url (https://flic.kr/p/2isQMk4) that I get from the "Share photo" option on the Flickr platform. I reckoned, I should use this url and add it to the timeline element. However, I just found out that when using the long url (https://www.flickr.com/photos/186953306@N04/49530504357/in/dateposted-public/) it works perfectly in the timeline element. I have no idea why the shortened url give rise to these pagepeeker problems.

Kind regards,

Bioscience

Hi Bioscience,

I'm glad you found a resolution and thank you for getting back to us.

Hi Bioscience!

You'd have to ask flickr why they use pagekeeper. In general - not limited to Timeline - it's a good idea to link to media files directly, not to the page that contains the image.

Best,
Oliver
