Short text in Image Slider

Beatriz Rojo's picture

Hello,

I'd like to propose the feature to add a short description text in the image slider, so that students get some guidance about what they're seeing or what do they need to look at.

Thanks!

Hi Beatriz,

Thank you for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! With the H5P supporter program the H5P community can now vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then work on a feature they find interesting or useful.

Hi Beatriz!

It's not exactly the same as Image Slider, but have you tried Agamotto instead?

Best,

Hi BV and Oliver,

thanks for your answer. I've used "Guess the Anwer" as an alternative and it's OK, but you're right, the Agamoto could also be an option, thanks, we'll try this and see which one has the best results!

Hello, I'd second the original request very, very much. Agamotto can help a bit, but the point is to be able to show a simple sequence of different images each with its description and without the intermingling, fading effect in between. The Image Slider, thus, needs the optional "Description" field and html editor to accompany the image contents - for consistency with Agamotto, but primarly for students' / teachers' best advantage.

For the purpose described the Slider is also much more intuitive in how it captures the arrow keys, and it is overall "lighter" than Agamotto, producing smaller h5p files.

Thanks for any help, and kind regards.
