H5P Course Presentation content not displaying in Moodle

Hi

I am having a remote end user reporting an issue with viewing H5P Interactive Presentation content in Moodle. I am unable to replicate it myself as I do not have an older version of an iPad. The iPad I have access to is running IOS 12.

What are the minimum browser/OS requirements for H5P to run within Moodle?

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)The user is accessing the H5P Course Presentation via the H5P interactive content plugin on Moodle.
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle. Moodle version 3.5.7+
  3.   Mobile or Desktop Mobile device iPad IOS 9
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc Safari
  5. H5P plugin version H5P plugin version 1.19.1
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P. Interactive Presentation, not sure how to check version
  7. Any browser console errors No errors,  H5P just doesn't show
  8. Any PHP errors No errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem
  10. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.) No changes
  11. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.) No changes

Hi SDCLTRSstaff,

H5P supports the latest 2 versions of browsers and OS, which means if there are bugs the core team will try to fix it. However I was able to verify that I can use Course Presentation on an iPad running on iOS 9. So I would suggest that we 'cross' test this. Please ask the user to check if they can see the sample contents on here, I'd also request that you post the URL of the content that is having the issue.

Hi Censitec,

In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

If it worked before:

  1. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.)
  2. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.)

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Hi Alfonse,

I have a hunch that there is a "empty" content inside your content, i.e. you have created an Interactive Book and inserted an Interactive Video, however you forgot to insert the video. This is the most likely reason for the issue. Although I cannot be certain since the screenshot only proves that your content is not working. If you are sure that there are no "empty" contents I would suggest that you create a separate thread here: https://h5p.org/forum/9 and provide all the information that is requested.
