You write "it would be the dream"

No, it would be a nightmare!

:D I'm afraid the nightmare has already begun for many other areas...

Hi!

I don't know what the H5P core team is working on in detail, but there was news that one of their developers has been experimenting with machine learning (artificial intelligence has become a marketing buzzword). I think it will rather revolve around supportive tasks such as automatically suggesting distractors, cmp. e.g. Gao, L., Gimpel, K., & Jensson, A. (2020, July). Distractor analysis and selection for multiple-choice cloze questions for second-language learners. In Proceedings of the Fifteenth Workshop on Innovative Use of NLP for Building Educational Applications (pp. 102-114).

Best,

Oliver

Ok thank you, let's wait :)

By the way, the H5P core team has recently came up with a beta feature available to only few users on H5P.com.This is called "smart import" and it relies on IA : "The Smart Import AI engine is a highly advanced tool that is learning at an impressive rate. Currently, it excels in processing and understanding declarative knowledge, which is information found in textbooks and encyclopedias. The engine is still learning how to handle procedural knowledge, such as how to ride a bike or build a website, as this requires a greater level of contextual understanding. Currently, the best results are achieved with content that is rich in declarative knowledge."

You can have a look at this help page to learn a bit more about it : https://help.h5p.com/hc/en-us/articles/8229514747805-Smart-Import

Cheers,

Isa

Final thought :

The "Smart import" feature on H5P.com really works as Noleje. You can have a look at a step by step tutorial with screenshots of the tool here : https://vucollaboratehelp.vu.edu.au/help-guides/interactive-tools/h5p-interactives/795-h5p-smart-import

Thanks very much !! i go to see that
