In the quiz Question set, even though I am not checking the randomize questions, but the activity type randomizes my questions anyway.

There's one randomize option
There's one randomize option for the question set which will randomize the order of all the different question types that you included (multiple choice, true-false, etc.). That is labeled "randomize questions".
There may also be a randomization option for the question type itself, e. g. with multiple choice for shuffling the answers. The label reads "randomize answers".
Have you possibly confused both?

Thanks for replying - I didn
Thanks for replying - I didn't confuse them - each question has an option to randomize answers, but the entire set, as you've pointed out, has the option of randomizing questions. We have only included one question type (multiple choice), and did not check of the option of randomizing questions - yet still H5P randomizes the questions. Maybe the option is only to randomize the question types, but within a question type (e.g., multiple choice), it randomizes them autamatically?

Unable to reproduce
Hi Akaskens,
I am unable to reproduce the issue that you are reporting. Can you please check this sample content that I created if you encounter the problem that you are describing. If not there may be a setting or 2 in your Question Set that is different from mine. Feel free to download the sample so that it will be easy to compare.

I can support BV52 here. I also cannot reproduce the behavior. In my sample content, I didn't check "randomize questions" and as you will see, they're in perfect order.

thanks!
thanks so much. In comparing your and my content, I was able to see that we had a "10" in the setting directly underneath "randomize questions," which treats the questions as a batch of 10 (or any number) and randomizes them. I removed the number 10 and it worked fine.

Randomizing/limiting quiz questions
Hello, I checked both "randomize questions" and set a limit (of 15) but it is not working when I view it. Any tips? Thanks.

Hi lparkes,Without a sample
Hi lparkes,
Without a sample content I don't think anyone in the community will be able to provide any suggestions. What I know is that enabling "randomize questions" and setting the limit to 15 works: https://bv-demo.h5p.com/content/1291925870932887429. So if you can upload your content or share a publicly accesible link with the download button enabled maybe someone in the community can provide a resolution.

Hi Lisa,I think we have
Hi Lisa,
I think we have answered this question through the H5P.com channel. But for the benefit of the community let me include the answer here as well.
The content you linked to only has "one" question which is a Fill in a Blank activity. I said "one" question since a single content type even though it has multiple questions in it is considered one question by Question Set. Having said this Question Set will not be able to randomized those question. As a workaround what you can do is split those questions to 30 separate Fill in the Blanks contents inside Question Set. Then set the content to randomize the questions.
