Dear All,

I am trying to use games in my biochemistry teaching. I have created a free account and looked at the various types of activities. Is it correct that using my free account I will be unable to use my content to create games for my course? If so, what do I need to be able to create the games?

Hi Irina,

To provide the best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) there are limited content types that are available.

 

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

Dear Irina,

Perhaps you have now learnt a little about the different types of content that H5P provides.
Since you don't write what exactly you mean by game, it's a bit difficult to categorise what exactly you want to do. Since the free version of H5P already offers a lot of possibilities, not all of which are listed here(https://h5p.org/content-types-and-applications), it is a little difficult to help you here. Perhaps it would be a good idea to first define exactly what and how you want to teach something so that you can then find out exactly which content type is best for your needs.
