How to use H5P xAPI

Forums:

 Hi Team,
I am creating cutsomized h5p packages which can upload and use in h5p with javascript. Now I want to use xAPI to pass the user data when I click  submit button.

Can you help me? How to use it ? where to start it ?

is xAPI free or paid ?. If it is free how can I install the xAPI package and use it my code ?

If I get any inputs that would be really appricated.

 Thanks.

You can easily understand from this person's words he is not an expert who can read those guides and implement it himself. Only a developer or a really techsavy person might understand and implement those steps. I have been reading posts about xapi and there are even questions from 2015 and this issu has not been solved yet. Users do not know for certain weather there is an xapi coverage - or if there is to what extend-  for a specific content type. We do not know how or who will do this. H5p is like a nice tv with a lot of fetures but it requires a cable which only the producer can add but don't.

Hmm, the original poster seems to be a developer, as he/she mentioned working on creating a content type. And he/she did not post any follow-up questions, so maybe the answer was fine for him/her.

If you want to check whether an H5P content supports xAPI, you can use the H5P Caretaker. Upload your content, and in the info category you'll find an xAPI section. See https://www.olivertacke.de/labs/2024/12/22/take-care-of-your-h5p-content/ for how to install it yourself or use the imstance by NDLA.

Apart from that, could you please clarify what your issue is?
