Global Copyright Settings for H5P-Content

Hi guys,

i'm working for a university and we use H5P for creating and embedding Open Educatinal Ressources. We would like to use some kind of "Copyright"-Button" with a Link included into the H5P-Action-Bar. I know, that there is no easy way to implement this without programming skills, but i read, that you are working on global copyright settings allready (https://h5p.org/node/1846). Just wanted to ask, if you are still working on that feature and if not, if there are some helpful tutorials to implement it with coding.

Best Regards

anakoluth

Hi anakoluth!

Thanks for reaching out! This topic is one that's dear to my heart as I've worked with OER myself for many years and know that H5P cannot fully comply with the necessities of licensing. We've made a lot of progress with completely redesigning the metadata system, technically and visually, but we're not done yet because we had to give higher priority to some other issues.

We highly appreciate your offer, but since the changes go deep into the core of H5P it's probably very hard to tackle something without some coding background. I think we could need some help with beta testing however, because those extensive changes cannot have enough eyes to have a look at it. If that's something you would like to lend us a hand for, please have a look at the page of the beta tester group.

Best,
Oliver
