Make Course Presentations more responsive/mobile-friendly

Are there any plans to make Course Presentations more responsive or mobile-friendly? Currently the text for most content in a Course Presentation is so small as to be illegible on most screens (particularly in portrait mode).

No concrete plans. The problem with course presentation is that the layout in many course presentations can't be changed. The users control the coordinates and sizes of all the boxes and if we for instance place them below each other on mobile we might destroy the entire meaning of the slide. We are considering a toggle feature where the user can choose to show the elements below each other with 100 % width for instance.

We're also planning to launch a new tool that we will recommend for those who want to combine many H5Ps and provide a good experience on all devices. With this tool you may create columns but not position content freely. Columns will then be displayed below each other on mobile.

Muchas gracias

Hi,

I have noticed that when the elements in the Course Presentation slide are more or big in size, a scroll bar appears on the content div.

The user has to scroll down to see the Check/Retry buttons.

Is there any way I can increase the slide height so that the scrollbar vanishes?

Any help is appreciated since we are running on tight timelines.

It is not possible to increase the slide height, but when adding an element as a poster, you decide the width and height of the interaction by dragging it's corners. When displaying the interaction as a button, the dialog tries to figure out how big it should be initially to avoid scrollbars.

Is the toggle feature or the new tool you mentioned (that creates columns) still in happening? Any idea when it/they might launch?

We are working on a new content type called Column, which makes it possible to place H5Ps below each other inside one column. It will available in the near future, hopefully this month.

Fantastic, thanks!
