Fill in the Blanks

Advanced fill in the blanks

I have a slightly long text.

1) I select, for example, twenty words from the text.

2) I want a random set of x <= 20 (user defined) words from the twenty above to be converted in blanks so that each student have a different exercise and every attemp of this activity will be different.

Thanks.

Paste Excel spreadsheet into fill-in-the-blank question types

I cannot find a fill-in-the-blank question type that allows users to paste an Excel spreadsheet into the question. The current fill-in-the-blank removes all the formatting of the Excel spreadsheet so it shows up on a single line. The only way to format rows of text/numbers with the current question type is using the space bar, which is difficult and looks messy/unpolished. I teach accounting and recently published an OER with PressBooks, which uses only H5P question types. My university is also approving and H5P LTI integration.

Various examples of using H5P content types in university context

Forums:

Hi everybody,

I'd like to share with the community some examples of using H5P content types in our so called Online Studychoice Assistants (OSA). I am working for the University of Freiburg (Germany) and these little tests are a free service to give prospective students a realistic insight into studies and specific subjects. The process can help to assess whether the subject really matches their expectations and wishes.
