Upload images to Timeline

Hi

Playing with the Timeline for the first time and loving it, but I'm a little confused as to why it's so difficult to add an image to the timeline.

You can upload a thumbnail which works fine - why can't you upload an image to the main body?

I am planning on using the Timeline for patients to tell their story of living with a rare disease. Most of them will be 60+ and will be able to upload an image, however I can't expect them to store their photos on Flickr and then link to a URL.

Are there any plans to develop this? This is the only thing holding me back from implementing this very worthwhile project.

Thanks.

Dan

Hi Dan,

Thank you for the suggestion. I agree that this feature is lacking in this particular content. It will definitely make this great content even greater.

Thanks for the reply!

Is there anything further that can be done to try and implement this?

Hi Dan, I think adding images to timeline would be extremely useful. H5P is an open source community project which means that anyone can contribute to improving H5P! If you would like to see it happen you could hire a developer to supply the code necessary and the Core Team will be happy to review it and merge it in.
