INTERACTIVE 3D CONTENT FOR H5P

Hello,

I would greatly appreciate the introduction of interactive 3D content into H5P. Embedding models with motion (rotation) * .obj; * .stl; etc

Hi, I am also looking for soemthing simalar. I want to view 3D models and/or images and have them interactive. Like find a hotpsot or place a marker.

Are you working on something like that?

Hi Ota,

Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.

To begin with, it is enough to be able to show content from the wordpress - canvasio3D Light plugin, for example

I'm sending an example of inserting a model on the web. It would be good to be able to insert the object into the course presentation. Suitable for machine classes.SAMPLE

That would be great.  To be able to embed 3D Scans from museums etc..

Cheers

I am chemistry teacher and would love to give my students 3D-Models of molecules to match them with structure formulas. At the moment, I try to use sketchfab to show 3D-models, but that is not really practicable bacause you have to change the website. I think, a great idea would be something similar to the interactive movie, but with the possibility to display 3D-models instead of movies or to embed them from sketchfab or other 3D-portals.

Here are a couple of examples of 3D model based learning materials, that do not use AR but just enable to browse the model and the info layed on it. This sure would be useful in many cases.

Well, the editor of AR Scavenger already holds everything that's necessary to build a standalone 3D model viewer and the code is openly licensed ... But if nobody has free time to spare ...

It is an old feature request, but still bringing this up.

I would love to have this as well. For example, move around an 3D model of a plane and explain various parts and their functionalities.
