Drag and Drop

The drag and drop interactive is marking correct answers as incorrect. I've tested this a few times using all correct answers, some incorrect answers, and all incorrect answers. I keep getting the same result -- all incorrect. This is for the word drag and drop. I think I have it set up correctly with the answer between the asterisks. I also encountered a similar issue with the image drag and drop, but the image version doesn't allow for an item to be placed in the wrong area (incorrect box won't go into the drop zone, bounces back out to unsorted list area). I can only place the item in the correct area, but it's still marked as wrong.

Please advise. Thanks!

Hi ChamberlainGen,

Would you mind attaching a sample for both Drag Text and Drag & Drop so that we can check?

In the attached, you can see that I mixed the responses. Some are correct, and some are incorrect, but all are marked incorrect.

Hi ChamberlainGen,

Thank you for the screenshot. Although this will not help in diagnosing the issue. Do you have a sample content that we can check?

-BV52

It was user error! So sorry about that. I didn't do the image drop correctly, so I tried to replicate in text drag, and that has to be in an exact order. All fixed. Thank you!

I'm glad you found what you need, if you have further questions feel free to post in the forums.

Hi there, thank you very much for everything in H5P,

I'm working on drag and drop with distractors. Basically, some labels don't match the dropzones and out of 6 dropzones, 5 only can receive a label. The problem then is the overall score is out of 6 so participants can only have 5 out of 6 because if they drop a label on the dropzone that is not supposed to receive one, they got -1 and if they don't, they get 0... Anyone found a workaround this?

Thank you for your help

I've had a look at your test content. There seem to be a number of errors in it.

Marital Status single OK
Since  has 2 identical draggables labelled 01.02.2020
In receipt of allowance since has 2 identical draggables labelled 01.02.2020
Dependent Override is incorrectly labeled Disabled!
Living with staff member is incorrectly labeled Disabled!
Financially Dependent is correctly labeled Financially Dependent

In order to help you out, could you please provide the full list of expected correct answers?

Thanks

Thank you for your help,

I think I figure it out this morning.

Answer key:

Marital staus: only "single" should be correct

For the dropzones "Since" and "In receipt of allowance since" only 01.02.2020 should be correct

For the dropzone "Distractor" no label shoudl be correct

Dropzones "Disabled" and "Financially Dependent" labels  yes (image tick) are correct.

Everything worked fine except the final score was out of 6 instead of 5. I changed the image (tick) by enabling "Infinite number of element instances" and it seems ok now. I attached the new version.

Hi Sebastian, I'm glad you managed to fix your problem. I'm attaching a modified version with a few "improvements". Hope you like it...

Thank you Papi Jo! I do like what you have done with the label, it gives it a more real feel. I will see with my colleagues what are their thoughts. Thank you again for everything!
