Documentation Tool

Hi,

I think it would be good if the documentation tool would enable the user (or implementer) to change the name of the exported file. For example, if a teacher wants a group of students to complete a document on Topic X, when the document is exported, the file could be named accordingly - as opposed to "exported-text".

(A potential case: A junior high classroom with shared computers. If multiple students use a single computer, they could potentially submit the incorrect file)

Thanks,

Iain

Hi Iain,

Thanks for your feedback. Good point!

We have just started using the Documentation Tool at our institution, and I agree with Iain - being able to customize the name of the document would look more professional, and eliminate possible confusion if we implement multiple instances of the tool in the same course, which we intend to do. Thanks!

Just wondering if there has been any movement on this. Our learners come at our trainings from a very diverse range of technical competencies. An option for the Instructional Designers to pre-state the file name would be huge and would save a great deal of headache for our learners and course facilitators.

Hi JHolland333,

Unfortunately we do not have plans to implement this in the near future. The good thing about H5P is that it is open sourced so anyone can make the changes or (crowd)fund the development.

And this should really not be a big issue - probably even too small to be commercially viable for a freelancer ...

One would only need to

Cheers,
