Image Hotspots and Find the Hotspot keep showing update available event after update

1.The content types Image Hotspots and Find the Hotspot keep showing update available event after update (see attached screenshot or this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPJ-dRMgyJ0). All other content types are updating as usual. Content type cache is up to date.  

2.Platform and version number.  Wordpress

3.Desktop

4.Browser: Chrome and Firefox 

5.H5P plugin version: 1.15.4

6.H5P content type : Image Hotspots and Find the Hotspot

7.Any browser console errors: n/a

8.Any PHP errors : n/a

9.Screenshots if it's a visual problem: see attached video

10.Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.): n/a

11.Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.): n/a

Still happening for me too. Was wondering if that is why my hotspot image (that should open a video), is still showing "video format not supported" when I view on my browser?

Hi Madivs,

The "video format not supported" error message is independent of the update issue. This is usually caused by the browser unable to play the video used. H5P is not doing anything special with the videos you upload, and we are using the web browser's built-in video players. I.e: if you see any issues with the video, the most probable reason is that it is not optimized for the web. If you have created this video, you should check what options you have when creating the video file. Maybe there are some options to web optimize it? If not, you could e.g. use Handbrake (handbrake.fr) to optimize your video. Handbrake comes with presets, and you could e.g. use "Web -> Vimeo YouTue HQ 1080p60".

Thank you for the reply.

I actually found your mention of Handbrake while looking for solutions in the forum, thanks for that.
I then converted the videos to webm from there, and it now at least shows the video but it will not play (on mobile, on desktop it works).

Actually, it has been fixed for Find Hotspot, but not for Image Hotspots

Hi tki,

Can you check again, as far as I know the fix for this issue is not content type speccific so if one is resolved the others should also be resolved. I'll also ask the release manager to double check just to be sure.

Hello !

I am having the same issue with "Documentation Tool" update and "Quiz / Question Set" update. Both contents keep showing "update available" even after update. Here is a screenshot of the update for Question Set (same thing happens with Documentation Tool) :

And in the Contents Hub, the "update available" keeps showing up :

I am using H5P plugin (last version) with Wordpress 6.1.

Same for me: I can't update Documentation Tool nor Quiz/Question Set. 

Using latest version of H5P plugin, WP 6.2 (checked in latest versions of Chrome/Firefox browsers)
