Flickering on content load if content height is big

Bugs in content types

In moodle 4.2 interactive book flickering while opening if where are more content from standart window size, can be problem with JS-resizer.

This problem apears in chrome, edge, brave and some times in firefox

I append file with example. It is translated to german.

ssllqq, what a weird user name! Are you a real human or a machine?

I have tested your interactive book and I do notice a lot of flickering on all of the browsers you mentioned. By inserting such an incredible quantity of text lines in your Fill in the Blanks contents on each page you are obviously straining the capacity of H5P interactive book. Your example does not look like a real-life activity. That is all I can say.

The language teacher created one where he presents a lot of text with fill in, and example what i provided is example of lines count he created in h5p.

Then I suggest you tell that language teacher that their Fill in the Blanks exercise is much too long, both for technical and pedagogical reasons, and to break it into smaller chunks!

maybe, but some times is exceptions for some topic. Maybe need update h5p to limit line count or simbol count where their content will be forced to do it or try to fix problem/bug with so much content provided in h5p. Now is no limit to do, and they will do it, and problem will apear much more. About this problem i heard first time, but others workers had it, but newer told me. Solution was full screen, but loadint screen still will be flickering, and some users will not be waiting 30s of this flisckering video to load content, they will report of bug of it.

Maybe need update h5p to limit line count or simbol count where their content will be forced to do it or try to fix problem/bug with so much content provided in h5p. Now is no limit to do, and they will do it, and problem will apear much more. About this problem i heard first time, but others workers had it, but newer told me. Hi ssllqq,

For me this is not really a "bug" in H5P but in how it is inserted in Moodle. I cannot reproduce this if I upload it in H5P.com.

Do you support integration with https://docs.moodle.org/402/en/H5P ?
This problem apears in content bank and not only in modules.

Hi ssllqq,

I just tested this in my local installation of Moodle using the content bank and the H5P plugin. The issue seems to be only when using the content bank which is the Moodle core integration that is not developed by our developers. I think you will have more luck in the Moodle forums.
