Poll with results

Hi everyone,

I'm a h5p beginner, and i will create a poll with result on end.

How i can show result with percentage on the end of the questionnaire ?

Merci everyone for your help !

Supporter votes Members of the Supporter Network can vote for feature requests. When the supporter network has generated sufficient funding for the top voted feature request it will normally be implemented and released. More about the H5P Supporter Network

Hi Emilien, it's not possible right now but I've moved this to the feature requests forum. Hopefully a developer can make this a reality!

Has there been any progress made on a poll content type if not, can you suggest where to start to make one?

Hi mightysmile,

I'm sorry but no one has picked this up. The good news is that H5P is open source and you can make the changes yourself. Please check this page for additional information.

I find that quite remarkable... Really?

Hi PeterD,

Not possible because the code is not available, but it is possible if someone makes the necessary changes/additions to the code.

Hi all!

Unfortunately, the previous answer from Timothy still holds: It is not possible to have polls and show the results of all the others who answered, because H5P has no way to store information from one content type instance and load it in another content type instance.

There'll probably be a way once the MultiplayerAPI has been released (on H5P.com), but not yet.

So, yes, technically someone would have to add some code, but to the core of H5P probably fundamentally changing how things work. Not a piece of cake.

Best,
Oliver

We have a number of courses where we want learners to participate in a poll. The issue is whether we could create one poll that a number of participants could use, which would provide results to them all.

At the moment, we're using a WP plugin, but would be very interested in doing this in H5P.

Hi dotsandspaces,

I'm sorry there are no updates yet on this. Although with the changes to Quiz (Question Set) in the past few months this can be done at a certain degree. In the Quiz content you can now hide the solution, scores and check button. Please check this sample content I prepared.

Yes please!! :)

Hello! It will be very nice to have this fonction! As teachers, its an important way to measure the understanding in a class before exams and to know what to work on. Thanks!

thanks

Any update on this? Looking to embed a poll in canvas, with results to be viewable immediately. The goal is to have it used by students across terms. Can accomplish this with google forms, but it's not the most attractive way to do it.

And let's amend that post with the recording at https://bccampus.ca/event/in-the-kitchen-h5p-chef-svein-tore-griff-with/ where you can get a glimpse at the upcoming content types for H5P that (using some preliminary solution) will allow to use H5P for audience response systems / polls - on H5P.com.

Wow, I just checked some part of the video and ... this is awesome !

But too bad it isn't in PHP, this means it will not be avaible everywhere. I assume it's something in node.js ?

(I can't watch the full video right now, my internet is a little buggy, i just was able to see some part)

To the best of my knowledge that's done in Laravel (so PHP).

Just adding to the other requests!
