Installation and server related problems

Discuss problems with installing the H5P plugins/modules and content types as well as server-related issues

Change location of H5P direcory

Not sure if this is possible as is or if this should be a feature request.  We currently use H5P with Drupal and really love it.  However we do store a lot of content on AWS S3 and our private files are configured to automatically use S3.  I wondered if it was possible to change the H5P directory to be in private rather than public?

How to add translations?

MindCauldron's picture

Hello folks,

I would like to add some translations for a few different h5p content types in Irish (ga).

I am using the WordPress plugin. I notice there are json files in a content type's languages directory ( language/<locale>.json) within both thw wp-content/h5p and wp-content/uploads/h5p directories. However, when I add in a file for my own language, it doesn't seem to work as I expect.

How do I control which language is used for h5p?
How do I write my own translations and text overrides?

Thank you for your time!

Kind regards,
Darren

H5P and Moodle 3.5.4+ installation trouble

Hi there,

i try to integrate the H5P-plugin in my moodle (moodle 3.5.4+, php7.2, ubuntu 18.04) environment but it doesn´t work.

The appempt to run a true/false question ends in an exception-error (see attachment for more moodle debug info) "Call to a member function get_content() on boolean".

The required modules (zip, mbsting, ssl) seem to be installed on my system (see here: https://hnk.myqnapcloud.com/phpinfo.php ) and the max upload size and the max post size is comfortably set to 2048M.
