Integrate 'Questionnaire' into 'Column' and 'Course Presentation'

Irmgard's picture

I just discovered the content type 'Questionnaire' (haven't seen it before because it's currently not part of our H5P integration in Moodle). It seems to be extremely useful, especially for research projects.  The content type 'Questionnaire' is currently not supported (integrated into) by the Content types 'Column' and 'Course Presentation'.  It would be great if 'Questionnaire' would be supported by both 'Column' and 'Course Presentation'. This would enable me to integrate it in a 'sleek' way into one single 'package'.

Thanks

Irmgard

Hi Irmgard,

Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.

In the meantime you can use Interactive Video with an "empty" video as a container in Column and Course Presentation. I have created a sample content specifically for this.

Hi BV52,

I really like the example that you have shown. But I still can't figure out how to do this as a container. I tried adding another questionnaire in your example but I don't see that in my menu bar.

I must be missing something basic here.

Hi AP,

If you are creating your contents in H5P.org Questionnaire will not be available. To provide a best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) there are limited content types that are available.

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

Hi BV,

So, is this not available on the self-hosted Moodle applications? I am not using H5P.org or H5P.com.

Have you already had a look at the front page of h5p.org and scrolled down a little?

Hi AP,

Can you check if the "Enable LRS dependent content types" is enabled in the H5P settings? If not I suggest that you enable it and try again.

I would like to use this suggestion, but I don't know how I can upload an "empty" video as my container. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi cgreculescu,

It's an actual video. I created that by placing black paper on my phone's camera and making sure that it's quiet.

Thanks a lot!
