Need an "align objects" in editor

papi Jo's picture

An "align objects" feature (text zones or images etc) would be quite useful in H5P contents which allow the creation of such objects. Drag & Drop, Course Presentation (etc.)

Add alignment of objects

Please! I agree this would be great! Also with great copy and paste capability of objects in the course presentation. Thanks again guys for listening!

In case you haven't noticed, when selecting an object you can actually use Ctrl+C to copy it and then Ctrl+V to paste it. But you should be aware that it does not work across different sites – however, you can use it across different content types, i.e. moving an image from a presentation to an interactive video.

I agree this would be really handy when creating content.
Your suggestion is noted down. Thank you!

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I've tried that on Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Control-C, then Control-P does not work copy and paste unfortunately. Perhaps this is a Macbook related problem? Possible on PCs? I'm using WP, so...maybe that's the issue? Not quite sure. I definitely have the most up-to-date H5P version.

Yah, I haven't been able to do this...For instance, I copy an image, then move to a different page on a course presentation to paste it, but nothing pastes. All on the same site...no change of sites.

Is this a bug perhaps?

Thanks again for your willingness to respond. Much appreciated!

Kind regards,

Timothy

Hi! I just tried it on a MacBook Pro and it worked. Be sure that you're pressing the key labeled 'Ctrl' and not 'Cmd'.
Which keyboard layout(language) are you using?

Yes, indeed. Sorry...the typical functionality as you know is Cmd-C and Cmd-P...Control-C and Control-P work!

Slightly different than the norm but surprised I didn't figure this out sooner.

Many thanks! Thanks a ton!
