Contact us if you're interested in improving the H5P Documentation or help translate some of our resources to other languages.

H5P is an open source project that aims to be community driven. At the moment, H5P Group, a company co-founded by the open source companies Amendor AS and Cerpus AS, is the driving force behind H5P. However, more and more developers have shown their interest in participating in the H5P project. Read more about the H5P project here.

To get really good rich content, the cost of producing such content must be reduced. And in order to do so, the content needs to become reusable. This is one of the main ideas behind H5P. H5P makes it easy for others to share their rich content with the rest of the world. It should be just as easy to translate and customize content that others have created.

You should get involved with H5P so that H5P becomes more powerful, offers better documentation, better content types, better content and more resources to the community.

Also, be active in the Forum and influence the direction of H5P!

From what I saw on the installation documentation page I understood that some code has already been made for moodle integration. Can I get somehow access to these.

Module & Repo

Hi!

I've been building up a Moodle module using h5p(with DB and so..) . I'm integrating a moodle repository also for the files. Added an extra table (attempts) which will be useful for multiple attempt grading, keeping track of the userevolution and so.

Will be back with an alfa or beta version asap ;)

Is there a way to recover H5P content from a Moodledata folder?

Hello,

For some reason, my moodle got screwed... not sure why. For some reason files and pictures are not showing but text is. Have been trying to fix it for the last two months with no luck.

Is there a way I can recover my h5p content by downloading files direclty from the server? I was able to download one h5p thing... but when I tried to upload it here on the website through the content thingy... It said invalid file type and was unable to zip!

Any gelp would be greatly appreciated because there is hours and hours of work in those h5p files that I can't get to now.

We're introducing xAPI/Tin

We're introducing xAPI/Tin Can support in the next version of H5P being released this week. You may provide us with a patch for Memory game that adds an xAPI statement holding the information you need, and create your own drupal module with its own storage that receives the statement through the included event system and stores the data.

Problem with <script> in the insertion code

I am very happy to have found this tool. I would be happy to contribute and support development.

I have experienced problems with the insertion code in the Canvas and Moodle and Blackboard LMSs. I think the problem is the <script> and issues related to non-secure content. Please help me find the discussion for these issues and/or support documentation.

Don't know if I fully understand the question. What exactly are you trying to do? You can install H5P on Drupal, Moodle and WordPress, and content can be moved between sites with H5P installed using the .h5p file.

I’m not a developer. I like the idea of 4-6 cards on the same page (like the memory game) and being able to tap one to reveal an answer. This would be good in class, say, for displaying ‘pictures’ or ’symbols' and asking the class to name things. Then I can tap and reveal.

H5P has Dialog Cards, but the cards doesn't show at the same time like Memory Game. You should be able to create dialog cards right here on h5p.org.

Interested in H5P - Drupal 7 developer....

Hello, I’m very excited about learning what H5P is all about. I currently have a Drupal 7 site. On this site I have many online training modules developed with Flash Builder, and now I'm trying to setup a new LMS with Opigno. I’m hoping to achieve a more robust training experience for my users. My client requires IIS with MS SQL server, which all works great with my current site. I was having trouble implementing the Opigno with IIS/MS SQL Server on my development server. I understand that some of the back-end queries are written specifically for MySQL. So I was hoping to convert those queries into MS SQL Server queries for testing, and eventually convert them to Drupal’s API query. So I've now installed MySQL, and Opigno successfully, but still having difficulty implementing/understanding. Since Opigno relies heavily on Drupals H5P module, I thought this would be a good time to get more familiar with H5P before going any further with Opigno.

All suggestions are welcomed.

Faculty Training

I have been using H5P in my training workshops for our online faculty. I cannot wait to show this to them and to teach them how to use each of the available content types. This is wonderful!
