Hi Ashraf, those are extensions to your browser. Unfortunately, H5P can't do anything to stop them.

there is no restrictions for H5P video

tq u

for uploading video

You can never fully prevent anyone from stealing your video as long as they are able to see it. However, you can make it more difficult if you are a developer, e.g. through implementing a custom streaming service(like YouTube does) using Media Source Extensions or you can encrypt the video using Encrypted Media Extensions(like Netflix does).

It has passed 5 years since this video protection issue is posted.

I am wondering if H5P has provided EME or other video protection solutions for interactive video in Moodle?

Thanks for your attention!

Hello posboss aka Alex,

1. this is a moodle problem, since you refer to it explicitly.

2. you are welcome to build the corresponding API into H5P and then publish it.

3. as far as I understand it, this place is largely committed to opensource thinking.  Your request vaguely reminds me of similar requests in Selfhtml about how to use js to prevent downloading graphics from the web page. That must fail in the approach. But maybe you could just ask a largely closed source like windows or apple how you can do that.

Comment:  Yes, the main problem is from Moodle but any platfrom embeded H5P video has the same issue.

Comment:  How can I build API in my H5P interactive video of Moodle? How can this API prevent H5P interactive video being downloaded?

Comment:  I am a certified Moodle partner and promote H5P in Moodle. I prefer to use H5P solution for this video downloading issue.
