Suggestion
Hi,
We're still testing things but everything seems to work wonderfully, thank you.
Would it be possible in some future release to have images as answers? (eg 'Which of these is from The Nutcracker?' followed by four images/audio files for the answer.)

Hi,
There are no plans for this at the moment as far as I know, however it does sound like a wonderful idea!
I suggest posting this in the "feature request" forum where it is most likely to get picked up. The chances of someone seeing it and collaborate to create it is probably highest there :)

Hi,
Yes, they are indeed. Latest score for a test can be found in the "Grades" field under "Course administration", and all attempts can be found in the "Grade history" report for the content types that support this. The H5Ps that support this can be found at: https://h5p.org/documentation/x-api

I'd like to install only the couple of question types that my users would like to use. One of them is Multi-choice but I don't see a 'Download' button that I can use to download Multi-choice. Is there a way to download only Multi-Choice? I found a link to github, are there instructions on how to install using the github code>
Thanks

Hi Don,
There has been some changes to the 'download' button functionality. The button has been turned back on now, and it should be possible to download Multi-choice at: https://h5p.org/multichoice.
Installing libraries from github is a bit more advanced and requires some developer knowledge.

The "Multiple Choice" content only allows you to create a single question. To create a set of questions (includes different types of questions) you need to create a "Question Set".

Giving points
Hi! Thanks for your tools! They are really interesting to use!
I was wondering if it was possible to deactivate the score / giving points to the different multiple choice / single choice questionnaires.
I would like to create a quiz where there is no wrong answer (all answers can be valid) and the student then gets feedback on what they have chosen. However I find it gives a negative impact when they select an answer and then get a "score" saying they got only 1/3 correct. I have already deactivated the recap page that gives the final scoring of the course presentation...I hope you can help :-)
Best regards, Samantha

Hi Samantha,
Currently disabling the scoring for "Questionnaires" is not possible. Although there are 2 things that you can do to avoid the negative impact of seeing a score. You already did one of them by deactivating the recap page. The other is under "Text overrides and translations” change the "Feedback Text" (there is at least 4) to something different.

MC gives away Number of correct answers
When using the MC-question type with questions that have just one correct answer this is given away by the activity only letting the students select one answer. I don't know if that is intended, but I can think of scenarios where you would'nt let the students know whether a question has a single or mutiple correct answers. To my understanding this is not possible at the moment?

Hi avohns75,
By default MC will choose what type of question type it will use. You can override this by going to the behavioural setting and choosing multiple choice. This way even if there is only 1 correct answer the content will still show checkboxes. You can check my example content here, feel free to download it and use it as template :-)

hiding check button and showing correct answer
For Opigno (drupal - LMS) due to the existence of the Finish button, the check button is not required and can become confusing.
Any plans to provide an option to hide it?
Clicking on Finish will show the results but also correct answer, an option to hide this too would also be very useful, as not always one wants to give away the answer.
I think this would apply to the other question content types as well :)

Hi marksud1984,
I'm sorry but I don't think there are plans of having the option to hide the check button. Although I think this is a valid concern and could be considered for future updates. The good thing about H5P is that it is open source so you or anyone in the community can make the changes.
There is an option in Multiple Choice questions to hide the show solutions under behavioural settings.

Thanks, I understand and tried already the option, but this is only for the button while the correct answers are displayed in Opigno when clicking the Finish button.
Is this up to LMS to prevent the correct answers to be displayed and show only the answers entered ie. which were wrong and right or does the h5p module control that and possibly could have an option to prevent showing the correct answer?
(Obviously, this is more of value when there are multiple answers possible)

Hi markusd1984,
The highlighting was added as a feature for keyboard users, so they know which option is chosen. It may give the wrong signals for mouse-users that it could be the answer. There is a "task" created to fix this and you can follow it here. You can read more about the previous conversation regarding this here.

Score issue
Hello,
We have a Multiple Choice set with 2 correct and 2 incorrect answers. The overall score value is 2 stars, but if you select 1 correct and 1 incorrect answer the value remains at 0. It shows 1 star if you select only one correct option when checking. I created a demo that demonstrates the issue here: https://h5p.org/node/189546
We have a Drupal 7 site with the latest version of the H5P plugin and no updates for the Multiple Choice content type.
Thanks in advance for the help ;)

Hi Arturo!
That's because you receive -1 point for every wrong answer (minimum score is 0 though). This is indicated be the +1/-1 symbols popping up when you answered.
Without this logic, a multiple choice quiz wouldn't make sense. You could simply select everything and still receive points. In your example, I could simply click on everything and would also receive 2 points -- the maximum possible.
Best,
Oliver

I've been finding this a problem too. Wouldn't it be preferable to be able to put a limit on the number of answers users can select? So in this example, if there are 2 correct answers they can select a maximum of 2 options. Correct answers count towards your score, and incorrect answers don't. I would find this much less confusing. As a user I would expect that if I get a correct answer, it should earn a point - the challenge is just to prevent them from selecting all the answers.

Hi DigitalCapabilities
Hi DigitalCapabilities!
Whenever I was on the user side and had to complete multiple choice tests, they always followed this scheme, and I think it's quite logical. Anyway, if you limit the number of options to choose from, wouldn't you give away the number of correct answers?
Cheers,
Oliver

Perhaps that should be
Perhaps that should be enabled as an option for the creator of the content. In some cases you might want the user to know how many correct answers there are, in other cases not. In my use case this isn't any big secret, I would just like the user to receive points for the correct answers they get.
For a comparison, since our users are students, I'm thinking about the exams they sit. If the question says 'choose 2' answers and you choose 2 and get 1 right, you get 1 point for the correct answer and nothing for the wrong one. Only if it says 'choose 2' and you choose 4 would any penalty apply. I feel like that approach might be less likely to cause frustration.

how to change color
Hi,
When a user chooses a wrong answer, this answer's color turns pink. After that when the user clicks on the "show correct answer", the correct answer remains in gray color (with a circle sign on the right). I'd like to make the correct answer's color turns green after clicking on the "show correct answer".
Hosw to do it?
