how to make the braching question just to jump back to the same question if the answer is wrong? Branching to another branch does not give the current branch as an option?

It would be great to be able to redirect users to the same question when they make a 'wrong' choice. Now we have to redirect them to the previous question is not intuitive and worst-case they are redirected to another question than where they came from...

Hi! I'm using the branching scenario in a adventure-like way for the students. Is there a way for an incorrect "fill-in-the-blank answer to branch to one location and a correct answer to branch to another. This will lead to the custom end of my scenario, but I don't want the students to have options like with the traditional branches.

I'm afraid this feature is not available in Branching Scenario. Although it is a very good idea and I suggest that you post your suggestion in the Feature Request forum.

In order for your feature request to attract as much interest as possible make sure it follows the below guidelines:

It is clear from every perspective how the feature will work. We recommend describing the feature with one or more user stories, for instance “As an author, I want it to be possible to pick between different effects for the check answer animation so that the learner will see a variety of effects and also I can adapt the effects to my target audience(I’ll be using pink unicorns which works really well for both my target audience which are 4 year old girls and venture capitalists)”
If the feature can be illustrated with images or videos it always helps
Make it clear what content types this is relevant for, and or if this is a new content type

Video Track WebVTT

Hi There,

I'm using three video elements in a Branching Scenrios tutorial. I created a .vtt file for each with descriptions of what's happening in the video (there is no audio). I've uploaded each file to the corresponding video but when I play the videos in the preview I'm not seeing the descriptions. Could you advise if I am missing a step or point me to more documentation about how to enable this functionality?

Could you advise if there is a better way to share the content? I used the 'reuse' function to download the activity but did not immediately see how I could provide a copy with download enabled. Is it best to share the embed code?

Within the activity, the first branching questions asks 'Where should we begin?'. This is followed by three videos without audio and those are the ones to which I'm trying to add the VTT files with descriptions.

Thank you for sharing the files. For some reason "description" in "type kind" is not working as a work around you can use captions or subtitles until this can be sorted out by the H5P core team.

In terms of sharing the content either the URL for the content (if download/reuse button is enabled) or you can download it yourself and upload it somewhere. It is also advisable to post questions in the forums since it has more traffic hence faster responses, upload is also enabled there so there is no need to upload the files in dropbox for example.

Deleting Upper Branching Question

I added a branching question above the 1st step of my branching scenario. I now want to delete the question I added, but if I do so it deletes all content below. Is there a way to remove a question from the top without delete all information below it?

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

I completed added all of the information for my branching project, which was extensive and took me 8 hours to complete. I preview one of the branches that ended and the default "restart course" button appeared. I selected to restart and when I started my project it only shows the two presentation pages. I cannot find my project. What happened to it? Is this a known problem with the branching scenario beta.
